Tubería schedules
Reference data y engineering information about tubería schedules para fluid mechanics applications.
pipeschedules
Overview
Pipe schedules define the wall thickness of pipes. The schedule number is approximately 1000 × the allowable stress ratio. Higher schedules mean thicker walls for higher pressure service.
Data Table
11 filas
Schedule | Description | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|
| Sch 5 | Very thin wall | Low pressure, gravity drain |
| Sch 10 | Thin wall | Low pressure, HVAC |
| Sch 20 | Medium-thin | General service |
| Sch 30 | Medium | Moderate pressure |
| Sch 40 (STD) | Standard weight | Most common — general service |
| Sch 60 | Medium-heavy | Higher pressure |
| Sch 80 (XS) | Extra strong | High pressure, steam |
| Sch 100 | Heavy | High pressure |
| Sch 120 | Extra heavy | Very high pressure |
| Sch 140 | Very heavy | Very high pressure |
| Sch 160 (XXS) | Double extra strong | Extreme pressure |
