概述

密度是质量与体积的比值:

ρ=mV\rho = \frac{m}{V}

其中 ρ\rho 是密度,mm 是质量,VV 是体积。密度通常表示为 g/cm^3kg/m^3lb/ft^3sl/ft^3

纯水在 4 degC (39.2 degF) 时达到最大密度,约为 1000 kg/m^31.940 slug/ft^3。在此温度以上,随着水膨胀,密度降低。

重度是重量与体积的比值:

γ=mgV=ρg\gamma = \frac{m g}{V} = \rho g

其中 γ\gamma 是重度,gg 是重力加速度。标准重力通常取为 9.80665 m/s^232.17405 ft/s^2

工程注释

  • 密度-温度关系是非线性的。因此,在整个温度范围内,体积膨胀系数不是常数。
  • 水在接近 4°C 时密度最大。这一异常现象在流体静力学、自然对流、防冻保护和储水箱计算中很重要。
  • 高于正常沸点时,1 个大气压表格中的数据不再是大气压下的液态水数据;原始来源报告的是饱和压力下的数值。
  • 压力会增加液态水的密度。压力图表和高压表格显示了 1 atm 或饱和压力、1000 psi 和 10000 psi 之间的差异。
  • 在美国习惯单位表格中,在标准重力加速度下 lbm/ft^3lbf/ft^3 数值相近,但密度和比重是不同的物理量。
